How to Replace Your Filter
Swapping the filter in your Klenzy showerhead takes under a minute and keeps your water clean and fresh. Grab a new replacement cartridge and follow the steps below.

Turn Off the Water
Switch off the water at your shower valve so there are no surprise splashes while you work.
Unscrew the Bottom of the Showerhead
- Hold the showerhead firmly and twist the bottom section counter-clockwise.
- If it feels stuck, wrap a soft cloth around it for extra grip. Avoid using metal tools that could scratch the finish.
Remove the Used Filter
Once the bottom section is open, gently pull out the old filter cartridge. Be careful not to force anything. It should slide out easily.
Clean the Filter Housing
- Check the inside of the housing for any mineral buildup, sediment, or debris.
- Wipe it down with a soft, damp cloth so the new filter sits cleanly.
Insert the New Filter
Line up the replacement cartridge with the housing and slide it into place. It should fit snugly without any force. If it resists, double-check the alignment before pushing harder.
Reattach the Bottom Section
Twist the bottom piece back on clockwise until it's firm. Hand-tight is enough. Overtightening can damage the threads.
Turn the Water On and Check for Leaks
- Open the water supply and let it run for about 10 seconds to flush any loose carbon from the new cartridge.
- Inspect around the bottom section for drips. If you spot any, give it a slight extra turn.
Tips for Easy Maintenance
- Replace your filter every 2–3 months for the best results, even if the water still looks clear. Filtration drops off before you can see it.
- Rubber gloves can make gripping the showerhead easier, especially if your hands are wet.
- Keep a spare filter on hand so you never have to shower with a worn-out cartridge.
